The HFTC is offering in 2019 a re-designed junior spring program under the direction of our Pro, John Mowat. The instruction will focus on the physical, technical, tactical, mental psychological and emotional skills needed to succeed in tennis. The program will be run by Tennis Canada certified instructors and coaches.

Juniors aged 6 to 17 are welcome. Players should wear comfortable clothing, athletic or tennis shoes, sunscreen, hat and should bring a water bottle. The Club will loan a racket if the player does not have one.

The program will run over 8 consecutive weeks, starting May 6 until June 27. Each session runs over 1.5 hours on the chosen weekday session. For example, the Monday session will run over 8 Mondays from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, ie. 12 instruction hours in total per session. In the event of rain, make-up days will be subsequently scheduled.

The cost of lessons are, in addition to Club membership:

• one session/week: $100, ie. $8.30/hour
• two sessions/week: $180, ie. $7.50/hour
• three sessions/week: $240, ie. $6.70/hour
