Stuart Perkins

I have spent the past few months pursuing my Tennis Canada Coach 3 certification in Toronto. My previous coaching certifications were completed while working at one of the more prominent Tennis clubs in Alberta, The Royal Glenora Club. During this journey coaching students of varying ages, I have been afforded the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of experiences across Canada. These encounters and my background as a junior performance athlete have molded my coaching philosophy to what it is today; to enable students to know better, do better and discover their full potential.

I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge with, and learning from, each student that I have encountered whether as the head coach for school and community programs, as a traveling coach with the Alberta Provincial Junior Team to Nationals, or as a private coach to national level juniors in Alberta and Ontario.

As a multi-sport junior performance athlete, my background helps me relate to my students in their pursuit of excellence. Each sport requires varying physical, mental, and emotional skill sets which can all be useful in the holistic development of a young athlete. I look forward to making a positive contribution to each student as they continue along their developmental path.

I am a Tennis Professional Association certified “Coach 2”.
